ELY PLAY NATIONAL LEAGUE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Elys Senior team will for the first time in their history take part in a National League when they play their first tournament in National Division 1 on the 9th Oct. This is the second tier of National Roller Hockey with teams from various parts of the country descending on Soham Ross Peers. Ely start their campaign against Sheffield at 9.00am and later play Herne Bay, Herne Bay United and Maidstone. Later in the season they will also play Houghton Regis last years champions and Halifax as well as 2 England select teams. The team for Sunday, James Cox, Dan Salisbury, Michael Hart, San Arnold, James Bayes, Max Dunand, Hannah Barrow and Hattie Ford are all aged 15 – 17 and will be playing some much older and experienced Men’s sides.
