five members take part in National Ladies day

Five members took part in the recent National Ladies day. 33 girls/ladies from across the country took part aged from 13 upwards, inc several current National squad members.

Players were seeded and 5 mixed teams picked who then took part in a round robin tournament. Hattie Ford and Hannah Barrow were members of the winning yellow team with Vicky Moffatt and Emily Barrow members of the blue team that came second. Kirsty Moffatt was in the green team that came fourth.

Highlights of the day were a hat trick by Vicky who was one of the yougest taking part and Hannah who ended up top scorer of the day with 12 goals across 4 games.

Hopefully this will become an annual event and more Ely girls can take part next year.
